About The Event
Join Brisbane German Week at the Queensland Conservatorium for a special lunchtime concert showcasing the talent of emerging musicians and the richness of the German musical tradition. Presented in the Conservatorium Foyer, this free public performance features outstanding student artists performing works by composers including Mendelssohn, Schubert, Wagner, Clara Schumann, Brahms and Hugo Wolf.
Curated by Graeme Jennings, Senior Lecturer in Violin and Viola at the Queensland Conservatorium, this relaxed lunchtime event offers audiences an opportunity to experience exceptional live music in an informal and welcoming setting.
Presented as a Brisbane German Week special and produced by SuonaVoce™ Australia, the concert highlights the enduring influence of German-speaking composers while supporting the next generation of Australian musicians.
