Embedded in the stunning setting of a spectacular rooftop, a unique experience of classique, fashion and history will be provided in which QUT Creative Industries dive into The Future of Fashion and our young talents of the German Youth Choir will partner with QYO and our indigenous artist Marbie.

We’re opening Brisbane's 11th German Week in style –
with a spectacular evening celebrating unity, creativity, and contemporary Germany.
This year’s Opening Night Reception coincides with the 36th anniversary of German Reunification and takes place as Australia and Germany look ahead to 75 years of diplomatic relations in 2027.
To honour this moment, Brisbane German Week brings together heritage and innovation in an evening that connects Berlin and Brisbane through music, fashion, culture and conversation.
